I believe that youth is more than just an active member of our society, they bring a positive change in our society by identifying the wrong beliefs, traditions, and ideologies that currently exist in our society and are fighting to eliminate them.
A lot of positive social changes occurring in the world and our country are being implemented by the youth. Youth is the major force of change and they are brilliantly contributing themselves in social service and this is evident by the results of their efforts which get global recognition.
We can see a lot of youth figures rising, youth leaders and activists bringing change to our society, youth entrepreneurs bringing innovation by generating new ideas and working on them. Look at the example of Malala fighting to provide education to girls.

In our country, many youth activists are doing exemplary work in social development through their efforts and will power.  Take the example of Ranjitsinh Disale who in 2009 at the age of 21 years joined the Zilla Parishad primary school in Maharashtra to teach the village children, after joining he saw the poor condition of the school and tried to change it by himself. He tackled various issues like low participation and attendance of tribal students, teenage marriage, and a poor and incomplete curriculum. He changed the rancid ideology of society and succeeded in bringing a positive change in our society.
Various problems are existing in our society such as improper education, lack of hygiene/ health awareness, gender biases, child marriage, child labor, and many more. The youth are effectively tackling them with the help of the government.
There are various youth empowerment schemes launched by the government such as NSS (national social service), which target outdated social beliefs and aim to improve society.
Lastly, I would like to say that the role of youth and their contribution to social service is immense. The youth act as a change-maker and a leader aiming for the benefit of everyone, eliminating practices that hinder social development. They are empowering people through their vision, efforts, and will power, and they are a catalyst of a positive change.
